Hey everyone! Here is a life update- It seems I am in a quantum snow globe of a sorts. A successor to my retreat center has arrived in the field Guatemala and we are doing a year rent of the entire land, as trial to potentially transfer ownership of the property. It feels aligned and I am saying goodbye from afar to the Mountain Sanctuary Tea Temple, my home and to Arco Isis Sanctuary, the Space where I have spent the last 10 years building and becoming. My personal things have sold quite surprisingly swiftly, another sign of the transition being in deep alignment. This feels like a small relief. I have been in a world of physical pain, and have had to minimize pretty much everything for the last 6 weeks. It was wild to have felt healed for 2 months in December and January and then reinjure rather badly, back down the rabbit hole of repair and healing. I trust that the fundamental restructuring of my pelvis and low back is another echo of the fundamental restructuring of my roots and home right now. I have shed many many deep layers in the last 9 months, many holding patterns that my body had adapted to in the face of great sustained adversity. The only thing to do really right now is surrender, accept my body where it is, and surprisingly that's when the healing happens. I have let go fully of the idea of serving tea anytime soon, mainly on the basis of the fact that I can't physically sit for more than 5 minutes, and it's best I pause any long sitting for the unforeseable future. That's okay. I've been a giver giver giver and the truth is that I am fundamentally exhausted. I had a moment of silence today and enjoyed a simple walk (with many rests) witnessing spring beginning early here in the Northwest. It feels nice to be without much pain as I write this, and I feel hopeful about the future. Resting phases are super important, and sometimes things just work themselves out when we stop trying so hard. ♨️
