When I first got into tea, I never imagined it would become such an important part of my life. I wouldn’t call it a career yet, or even a job, but it has grown into something much bigger than I ever expected. Introducing tea rituals and basic tea knowledge to people who once had little interest in tea, creating our tea meditations, sharing Korean tea culture, designing tea tables, and curating tea experiences and pairings with food, wine, and music. None of this was ever on my to-do list. It wasn’t even something I thought about. But now that I’m walking the way of tea, meeting new people and creating meaningful opportunities, I’m starting to see that this path might have been there all along. Maybe in a few years I’ll step away from this niche and community, maybe not.
