Weird Korean tea of the day 🍵🇰🇷

Weird Korean tea of the day 🍵🇰🇷 Yuja cha 🥰 @hadong_tea_jade Yuja cha is commonly served in many Korean cafes in its most used form: a thick syrup that is then mixed with hot water. The syrup is just made putting yuja (a Korean citrus fruit) and sugar in a jar, so it often resembles marmalade! If you are lucky in some cafes you can get some of the real sliced fruit inside your drink because the mixture is homemade. Its flavor is very nostalgic to me. In a cafè on a fall afternoon I sat outside and I had some yuja cheesecake. I don’t know why that memory stuck with me so much. Maybe because this tea is comforting, warming and full of a unique aroma. I can’t wait to have it again in Korea! #koreantea #teaoftheday #weirdkoreanteaoftheday #yujacha
