Kooridashi Ice Brewed Gyokuro 🌱 How to make it? 🌿tea leaves 5g 🧊 8/10 ice cubes Kooridashi literally means “ice-out” in Japanese. In this unique Japanese tea brewing method, we will simply be putting tea leaves and ice together in a pot, and leave to melt naturally. I usually put around 3/4 ice cubes, half of the tea leaves and then again ice topped with the remaining leaves. I left it at room temperature for 4-5 hours, till the ice is all melted! 🥶 If you use a glass gong dai bei like I did here you can see the ice slowly melting, something I find very therapeutic. For this recipe I used @dadotea.co Gyokuro Karigane from Ujitawara, Japan. Notes: Japanese peppercorn leaf, white peach, sudachi rind.
